Grimeton Radio Station is the last of the large communications installations of its kind, according to the venue. The site was named a World Heritage site in 2004. Its subject is the development of wireless communication, from long-distance messages sent in Morse code to communication today.

Visitors can explore the station and, when scheduled, join a guided tour. The tour called Dagskiftet ran on Saturdays from August 17 to October 31, so it has ended for this year. Groups can book a guided visit year-round. The venue also has Matsalen, which serves lunch and fika from Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 15:00. Lunch is served from 12:00 to 14:00.

The station is closed today, Tuesday, November 3. Its published 2026 schedule has it open Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 15:00, through November 28. The venue says hours can vary and advises visitors to check availability in its ticket shop. The schedule also lists a summer period, June 20 to August 16, when it is open daily from 9:00 to 17:00.
