The traffic school at World of Volvo is a driving course for children aged 6 to 12. The recommended height is 110 to 150 cm. Children drive child-sized electric Volvo vehicles around a specially designed course set up to resemble real traffic. The route includes junctions, pedestrian crossings and roundabouts, with the settings inspired by real urban environments.

A child moves through the course in a small electric vehicle, following a layout that includes features of city traffic. The activity gives children a chance to encounter junctions, crossings and roundabouts from behind the wheel rather than as pedestrians. After completing the course, each child receives a “driving licence”, described as their first. The licence is the reward at the end of the drive, and the activity combines play with learning.

The course is specially designed, and its vehicles are child-sized electric Volvo cars. Its traffic features give children a setting based on real urban environments.
