Park Lane is a nightclub at Kungsportsavenyen 38, at the top of Gothenburg’s main boulevard, Avenyn. Its setup for nightclubbing includes disco lights, bars, performers and shows. Visitors can go for a club night, spend time at the bars and watch the performances. The venue’s club nights are concentrated at weekends, when the listing says the party is in full swing.
Two recurring nights are named. Spritluckan is held on Sundays. Club Queer is a mixed gay night on the last Friday of each month. It has run since 2001. The programme therefore includes both a weekly Sunday club night and a monthly Friday event. The listing describes Park Lane as a place that takes nightclubbing seriously, with the lights, bars and shows forming part of the night out. It gives no start or closing times, entry prices or suggested length of visit. The details provided focus on club nights rather than daytime activities.
