Mercure Gothenburg is a 101-room hotel on Skeppet Ärans Väg in Nya Varvet, beside the waterfront. Its facilities include a restaurant and bar, a gym, and five spaces for meetings and events. It is the Mercure hotel chain’s first property in Sweden and is operated by CIC Hospitality.

The hotel’s waterfront address is in Nya Varvet, and central Gothenburg is within easy reach. Nya Varvsallén tram stop is around a 15-minute walk from the hotel. From that stop, the journey into the city centre takes approximately 15 minutes. The walk to the tram and the ride into the centre therefore each take about a quarter of an hour.

Guests can stay in one of the hotel’s 101 rooms, eat or drink at its restaurant and bar, or use the gym. The five meeting and event spaces are also part of the property. The hotel combines a waterfront setting with a tram route into central Gothenburg, and the stop and journey times are useful to factor into plans for travelling between the hotel and the centre.
