Växbo Kvarn is a mill area in Växbo, 14 kilometres east of Bollnäs. The site has a small mill pond and old flax-processing buildings. A walk through Trolldalen leads to Växbo Lin, where visitors can see the factory and its looms at work, and browse linen made there and other products.
The area has cafés and a bakery, as well as shops selling pottery, silver jewellery, crafts and local food products. There is also a smithy that is active in summer. Visit Sweden describes Växbo Krog as a gourmet restaurant focused on local ingredients.
The venue’s summer guide describes a children’s play area with stilts, a ball and a sandpit, and suggests bringing swimwear or dry clothes. Animals stay at Växbo Kvarn in summer, and an art room in the old mill has pens, crayons and paper. The summer guide also mentions activities with Trulsa, a troll character who lives at the site. Since the guide is focused on summer, plan those seasonal activities for summer rather than assuming they are running in November. The material gives no prices or visit duration.
