Smådjursparken is part of Barnens Högbo, where the playpark, lawns and other family activities are close by. The park’s animals live across the wall from Sigrid’s cabin in the playpark. Inside, visitors can look through folders with pictures and descriptions of the animals. The cabin is open daily from 07:00 to 16:00, with tables for families, space to eat packed food, a microwave for warming baby bottles and a toilet.

Nearby options include a 12-hole minigolf course, a beach with a shallow shore, piers, a sandbox and changing rooms, and large lawns. Minigolf clubs and balls can be hired at Högbo Qvarn during the summer half-year. In winter, Högbo lists cross-country skiing on artificial-snow and natural-snow trails, as well as a sledding hill for when there is snow.
