Rönnåsen is an outdoor destination near Ockelbo, centred on Rönnåsstugan. The venue’s website describes winter visits for families, with skiing and sledging at Rönnåsbacken. A notice dated 6 January 2026 said the slope was being groomed and there was enough snow for skiing and sledging.
Rönnåsstugan has a café. Summer notices for 2026 mention coffee and waffles, while notices from 2026 also give special opening periods during Easter and the school sports holiday. A notice from June 2025 describes cycling to Rönnåsen as a popular outing and mentions views over northern Gästrikland.
