Firing ban on new automatic carbine

The Finnish automatic carbine AK24 – which is to replace the older and heavier AK5 in the Swedish defense – has been banned from firing, reports Dagens Nyheter. The firing ban has been introduced since a small number of AK24s that have been tested in training of conscripts have not functioned as they should.
