Afghan refugee team Afghan Women United cleared to compete in 2028 Olympic qualifiers
The Taliban regime in Afghanistan is free to say what it wants, and so is the country's football association. The refugee team, Afghan Women United, is recognized as representing the nation in official tournaments organized by the International Football Association.
