Argentina's CGT Union Calls 24-Hour Strike for April 10

Argentina's largest trade union, CGT, has announced a general strike on April 10 as a protest against the police after about 40 people were injured in last week's demonstration in support of pensioners. The Secretary-General of CGT, Hector Daer, said at a press conference that the strikers will also demand an increase in pensions and that the employment stoppage in the public sector is lifted.
