Ukrainians proposed to receive EU protection until 2026

The EU Commission is proposing a further extension of the temporary protection and rights granted to Ukrainians in the EU due to the war in Ukraine. > Ongoing Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure demonstrate that safe and sustainable conditions for return are not in place, said Commission spokesperson Christian Wigand at a press conference in Brussels.
