French film director prosecuted for rape

The French film director Benoît Jacquot is being prosecuted for rape, announces the prosecutor's office in Paris. The 77-year-old prominent art house director is accused, according to the indictment, of having raped the actresses Julia Roy, now 34, in 2013 and Isild Le Besco, now 41, between 1998 and 2000.
