Sweden to Build Major Carbon Capture Facility in Stockholm by 2028
Sweden's first and one of the world's largest facilities for capturing and storing carbon dioxide will be built in Energihamnen near Värtaverket in Stockholm. This has been decided by the energy company Stockholm Exergi, according to a press release.
Gets 20 Billion - Will Capture Carbon Dioxide
Stockholm Exergi receives 20 billion kronor from the Energy Agency, to collect and store carbon dioxide. Time was running out, says CEO Anders Egelrud.
