Karin Karlsbro becomes EU responsible for support to Ukraine

The Liberals' Member of the European Parliament Karin Karlsbro (L) is to lead the EU negotiations on multi-billion support to Ukraine from frozen Russian assets. The assignment as standing rapporteur (the European Parliament's chief negotiator) for Ukraine in the International Trade Committee (INTA) means that Karlsbro will be responsible for all matters related to economic issues with Ukraine during the mandate period 2024-2029, writes The Liberals in a press release.
