Colombia: Rebel group agrees to ceasefire

One of the largest factions that left the former Farc guerrilla, Segunda Marquetalia, agrees to an agreement with the Colombian government on a ceasefire and the release of hostages, the two parties announce in a statement. The talks in Venezuela's capital Caracas began on Monday and are the third under President Gustavo Petro, who is trying to put an end to 60 years of conflict between the country's security forces, guerrilla groups, paramilitary groups, and drug gangs.
