US Consortium Acquires Key Panama Canal Ports in $19B Deal

The Hong Kong-based conglomerate CK Hutchison Holdings has agreed to sell the company's profitable ports at the Panama Canal to a US-led consortium. Hutchison will sell 90 percent of its stake in Panama Ports Company, as well as some other non-Chinese ports, to American Blackrock, the company announces.
