Major Bank Charged Millions in Fees from Deceased Customers

One of Australia's largest banks, ANZ, has in contravention of applicable rules continued to charge millions of kronor in account fees from thousands of deceased customers, the Australian banking authority BCCC determines in a sanctions decision. According to the authority, ANZ has in a serious and systematic manner breached applicable regulations.
