Police alarm to a sports field in Råby, in Västerås municipality, due to a man seen hacking at trees with a machete. The man is not supposed to have been threatening to anyone.

Patrols are ordered to the scene and upon arrival, a man is found who matches the description given. A machete is also found.

The man, who is in his 65-year-old age group, tells the patrol that he intended to clear undergrowth along a path where the man wanted to run.

The patrol establishes a report regarding a crime against the knife law and the machete is seized.
