September 25, 07.55, Summary of the night, Norrbotten County

Here follow a selection of events from last night:

22.03 Drug offence, Älvsbyn:
Vid control of two men in Älvsbyn suspected drugs were found and seized. During a subsequent house search, further suspected drugs and a sum of cash were found and seized.

Both men are suspected of drug offence (possession) and money laundering offence. A report has been made.
No one is detained in the matter.

23.44 Fire, Luleå:
Alarm about a fire in terrain in Måttsund. It turned out to be a burning car. Police patrol was ordered to the scene. Fire department extinguished the fire. There are no reports of anyone being injured in connection with the fire.

The car is suspected to be stolen. The car owner is contacted. A report was made regarding damage by fire and theft of a vehicle.

03.18 Vandalism, Luleå:
Police patrol was ordered to Porsön where damage had been done to a window in a stairwell. It is unclear when it happened. The patrol documented the scene and made a report regarding vandalism.

06.16 Wildlife accident, Piteå:
Police received a report of an accident involving a small truck and a deer on Fårövägen, Fårön. No personal injuries were reported. The deer died in connection with the accident and a tracker was called out.

Other:
A person has been taken in for sampling after suspicion of a drug offence.

Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime.
