Here follow a selection of the night's events:

23.59 Drug offence, Umeå:
Police patrol is ordered to a pub on Berghem where a man is said to be rowdy. The man is suspected of being under the influence of narcotics and undergoes a blood test. He is taken into custody according to the Law on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons. A report is filed regarding a minor drug offence (use).

04.04 Traffic control, Umeå:
55 drivers on E4, Stöcksjö, are checked and are sober.

05.28 Traffic control, Skellefteå:
At a traffic control on regional road 860, Kåge, a driver is given a fine for speeding.

06.17 Wildlife accident, Skellefteå:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a small truck and a deer on regional road 877 between Östanbäck and E4. No personal injuries are reported. The deer died in connection with the accident and a hunter is called out to take care of it.

Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime.
