A car driver and a truck driver collide head-on with each other for unknown reason on Västra vägen in Norrtälje. The car driver is seriously injured and is taken to the hospital by ambulance. 
Prior to the accident, Västra vägen is completely closed to traffic between the roundabout towards Vätövägen and the roundabout towards Esplanaden (traffic circle Lommaren). 

The police take the two involved vehicles into custody for technical examination.
