Police have previously reported the same man for assault and other crimes on several occasions, but with the same woman as the victim.

Two police patrols are on their way to the crime scene.

A vigilant neighbor heard that the victim was in distress and intervened by throwing the suspected man out of the woman's apartment. Police have since conducted a shorter search and during this found and arrested him. The arrested person is now being transported to a police station where he will be questioned about his crimes.
