Explosion in Finspång
A few minutes before midnight, several alarms are received from the public about a loud bang heard in central Finspång. The police send a larger resource to the scene, where it is soon established that it involves some form of explosion that occurred at a multi-family house. This is believed to have happened near a door. The explosion is said to have resulted in a broken window to a cellar room and damage to the door. No one is reported to have been physically injured. What was exploded is still unclear. After the incident, a larger area was cordoned off. The police's forensic technicians have been on site to conduct a crime scene investigation. Parts of the resource that were in the area have also been engaged in door-to-door questioning to gather information about what happened. The incident is still classified as general destruction. No one has been arrested on suspicion of a crime. The cordons were gradually reduced during the morning and were completely lifted by 05:00.

Two cars on fire
Around 02:15, SOS is alarmed that two passenger cars are on fire in Ljungsbro outside Linköping. According to the alarm, the two vehicles are burning with open flames. The police have been on site where this occurred. No suspect has been found. A report has been filed regarding damage caused by arson.
