23:05 Police were called to a home in Habo following an activated burglary alarm at 22:59. A person was reportedly seen inside the property on camera. When police arrived at the scene, it turned out that the thief had entered through a window. Dog handlers tracked the area and cars were checked, but no suspected offender has been arrested at this time. A report of theft by burglary will be filed. It is unclear what was stolen.

01:23 Police were called to a campsite in Gnosjö following an assault. A man reportedly assaulted a woman indoors. They know each other. A child was also reportedly at the address. When police arrived at the scene, the woman and child were taken into care. The man, in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and violation of a child’s integrity. On Saturday morning, the man was also remanded in custody by a prosecutor.

In addition to this, police dealt with cases involving drunk driving, traffic offences, a wildlife accident, public intoxication, crime prevention work, and various checks on their own initiative or following calls from the public, which did not lead to anything serious.
