Since midnight, the police in the Stockholm region have handled 22 cases involving intoxication.
In several cases, the people are so intoxicated that they cannot take care of themselves and are taken into custody to sober up.
One example is a call about a man in Huvudsta who is lying outdoors and is heavily intoxicated. The man is taken into custody to sober up.
Another example is a man at a hamburger restaurant in central Stockholm who is so intoxicated that he cannot take care of himself. He is taken into custody to sober up.
The number of intoxication cases is not unusually high for a weekend evening with payday money still in people’s pockets. This notice is written to describe what the police work on during a night.
