Several people call the police after seeing a man hit a woman on the platform at Mariatorget metro station. 
The assault appears to have been completely unprovoked, and after hitting her, the man left the scene. 
Police patrols soon spot the man and are able to arrest him near the scene of the crime. In the meantime, the woman has received assistance from security guards. 

The man is in his mid-30s and is suspected of assault.  The woman is in her 20s, and it is unknown whether she needs medical attention.
