Two men fill their clothes and a backpack with meat, fish and poultry.
At the self-checkout area of a grocery store in Nacka, the alarm gates start beeping, prompting staff to discover that two men in their 30s have filled their clothes with food items worth over 5,000 kronor.
The men are detained by staff and the police are called.
Many items can be put out for sale in the store, but frozen tuna, dry-aged sirloin and chicken fillets, among other things, are deemed to have been ruined. In addition to the men now being suspected of theft, the store is therefore seeking compensation of 1,760 kronor.
