A man was pursued by an unknown perpetrator at 04:00 last night and then subjected to a mugging in a stairwell. Another perpetrator was present at the scene. A neighbor intervened to help, but was then also assaulted. No serious personal injuries resulted from the incident, and no one has been arrested for the crime yet. The incident is being investigated as a robbery and assault.
