Just before 15:00, the police were alerted by the public after an elderly woman was reportedly robbed of a bag containing valuables. The police have been patrolling the town and searching for a possible perpetrator. At present, no one has been arrested as a result of the incident. The affected woman is not seriously injured. The whole thing is classified as aggravated theft. 

Update 17:33: A man in his 50s has been apprehended following the incident. 

Update 18:30: The crime classification currently in effect is now robbery.
