Night to Sunday police district Värmland.

23.34 Torsby. Felony threat. A 20-year-old complainant reports being threatened by a person with whom they previously had a relationship. The threat was made via phone.

00.15 Karlstad. Assault. A 20-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown perpetrator. The victim was in Inre hamn when an unknown perpetrator approached and hit the victim in the face. The perpetrator then left the scene.

00.48 Charlottenberg. Drunk driving. A 35-year-old woman is suspected of gross drunk driving after a check in Charlottenberg. The woman was driving a four-wheeled all-terrain motorcycle at the time.

01.35 Arvika. Drunk driving. A 30-year-old man is suspected of drunk driving after a check in Jössefors. The man was taken into custody for a body search and is suspected of drug-impaired driving and drug abuse.

02.11 Torsby. Assault. Two 20-year-old individuals were subjected to assault by a man of the same age. No life-threatening injuries. The assault occurred on Gamla Torget in central Torsby.

02.36 Arvika. Assault. A 20-year-old man was assaulted at a restaurant in Arvika. He was taken to hospital for treatment, not life-threatening. The suspected perpetrator is at large.

03.14 Karlstad. Violent crime. The police have cordoned off an area in central Karlstad after a serious violent crime was reported during the night. No one has been arrested yet, the investigation is ongoing, and no further information will be released until otherwise notified.

03.39 Karlstad. Assault. Two 20-year-old men were removed from central Karlstad during the night after a fight at a fast-food restaurant in the city center. The complainant is a man of the same age.

04.55 Charlottenberg. Drunk driving, traffic offense. A 30-year-old woman is suspected of gross drunk driving, fleeing the scene of a traffic accident, and illegal driving. The woman, who is a foreign citizen, lacks a driver's license. The car was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 61. No personal injuries.

Last night saw many interventions and much order maintenance in the county. Twelve people were handled in drunk driving cases, six assault cases, four fights/mediation, two wild animal accidents, four harassment/anger (loud music etc.), twelve traffic offenses, one suicide case, and 25 person/vehicle checks.
