Västerbotten, results from some of today’s traffic controls.
On County Road 512 in Hössjö, Umeå Municipality, the sobriety of 50 drivers was checked, and all were found to be in order. Two penalty notices were issued for speeding and one for defective lighting. A vehicle inspection was also carried out.
No issues were noted during the check carried out on Gammliavägen in Umeå.
On the E4 near Lögdeå, Nordmaling Municipality, a penalty notice was issued for speeding. The speed was measured at 121 kilometres per hour in a 110 zone.
On County Road 364 by Degersjön, Skellefteå Municipality, two penalty notices were issued for speeding. The sobriety of approximately 40 drivers was checked, and all were found to be in order.
In Nordmaling, penalty notices were issued to two drivers who used a handheld mobile phone while driving. One of the drivers was also fined for not wearing a seat belt.
