Report of an assault in a home.
A man living in an apartment building in Hålabäck called the police and said that he had been assaulted by another man. This is said to have happened inside the victim’s home.
The injured man, in his 60s, is said to have sustained some injuries but was awake and able to speak. Ambulance staff checked on him at the scene, but there is no information indicating that he needed to go to hospital.
Police carried out a number of investigative measures at the scene. These included searching for the identified man, door-to-door inquiries and interviews. A forensic examination will be carried out shortly.
As the victim’s wallet is missing, a report has been filed for robbery and aggravated violation of home privacy. There is currently no suspect.
It is currently unclear why the identified man was in the victim’s apartment. It is also unclear whether the two parties knew each other beforehand.
