Police handled around 60 incidents in the county between 22.00 and 07.00. No serious violent crimes or major incidents have come to the police's attention.

At around 22.00, police were called to an apartment in the urban area of Linköping, where people heard a man and a woman screaming in an apartment. The woman is said to have screamed “ow”. A man and a woman in their 20s, who are in a relationship, were in the apartment and had been arguing loudly. Police mediated between the parties but found no signs of a crime.

One arrested on suspicion of attempted aggravated arson: At around 23.00, SOS received a call about a fire at the entrance of an apartment building in Vilbergen. Emergency services arrived quickly, and the fire had been extinguished by people at the scene. The fire is said to have started after someone threw flammable liquid at the entrance. Police worked to collect evidence, speak to witnesses and search for a perpetrator. During the night, a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of attempted arson.
