Police handled around 40 incidents in the county between 22:00 and 07:00. No serious violent crimes or serious incidents have come to the attention of the police.

At around 22:30, police were called to a car park in central Eksjö. A man was seen trying to get into a car, which did not appear to belong to him as he was pulling on the doors. The man then walked into the roadway and stood there. A person at the scene was worried about the man and called the police. Police arrived and found the man, who was intoxicated and taken into custody under the Intoxicated Persons Act (LOB). He is also suspected of minor drug possession as he had a small amount of drugs on him.

At around 02:00, a passenger car was stopped and checked on the E4 at Torsvik, Jönköping. The driver was stopped because a patrol had observed that the car was travelling very fast. The driver showed signs of being under the influence of drugs and was taken with the patrol for testing. Once the test was completed, the driver, a man in his 20s, was suspected of drug-impaired driving and a minor drug offence.
