Seven accidents in the region where deer have been struck have been reported and where trackers have been ordered out. None of the accidents are said to have caused any injuries to drivers or passengers.
At 3 a.m., Karlskogapolisen stopped a 60-year-old man who was driving a moped in Karlskoga. He was assessed as being under the influence of drugs, which made the patrol take the man for sampling and interrogation. He is now suspected of driving under the influence of drugs as well as minor narcotics offenses regarding personal use. The test results will show if the man is guilty of a crime or not.
Shortly after 3 a.m., an ambulance was called to Bångbro where a 20-year-old man slipped into a ditch with his car. He complained of pain in his neck and chest, so he was taken to Lindesberg's hospital for care. The police have spoken with the man at the hospital but suspect no crime in connection with the accident.
