The police receive a call in connection with witnesses observing a man stealing an elderly woman's purse on Söder. The woman was then helped by the store staff to contact the police, who ordered out resources. With the help of descriptions, surveillance cameras and investigative measures, the man, who is in his 45s, can be found and arrested at a bus stop a good hour later. He is suspected of gross theft and several cases of fraud and attempted fraud.

The plaintiff has lost a small amount of money, but has recovered a large part of his personal belongings.

After the interrogation, the prosecutor has decided to detain the man. The investigation is still ongoing.
