Since midnight, six people in Skellefteå have been taken into custody according to the Law on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons (LOB). Two of them were handed over to their relatives. Four people have been taken into custody in Umeå, one was handed over to a guardian and two to healthcare. A person in Lycksele has also been taken into custody according to LOB and handed over to healthcare.

The police have received a number of calls during the night about vehicles playing loud and disturbing music, in Umeå, Skellefteå and Storuman. In some cases, the police have turned away vehicles from the affected locations.
