A man is alleged to have assaulted a woman outside a restaurant. In connection with other people intervening, the man is alleged to have been violent and threatening towards them as well.

The man, who is in his 65-year-old age group, is apprehended and the police are working with initial investigative measures.

A complaint is drawn up regarding two cases of assault and three cases of unlawful threats.

There are no reports of anyone needing medical care.
