When the police patrol arrived at the scene, the man had left his car. After a bit of searching, including using a dog, the man was found at a bus stop. He was blown into a blowpipe, which resulted in the patrol suspecting drunk driving.

The man was required to follow the patrol to the police station for a test in a proof instrument (evidenzer) and further investigation.
