The police have been alerted about an avalanche that is supposed to have occurred a few kilometers south of Ammarnäs.
On-duty commanding officers decide to initiate an avalanche rescue with support from the Act on Protection in Case of Accidents. Avalanche rescuers are on their way to the location to check if anyone has been swept away by the avalanche.
