Police were alerted to an address in Hudiksvall after calls were made about a man entering his neighbor's home and then assaulting the neighbor. The assaulted neighbor is said not to have needed to visit a hospital.

A man in his 40s could be apprehended in the vicinity and was taken to the police station for further investigative measures. The man was detained after contact with a prosecutor.

The man is suspected of assault, unlawful threats, breach of peace and vandalism.
