Police receive a call from a member of the public who has found a car with two dogs in a cage on Kaplansgatan in Västerås.

According to the informant, it is very hot and the dogs appear stressed.

Police try to contact the owner of the car, but without a response. A police patrol is therefore dispatched to the scene.

Shortly after the police arrive at the scene, they manage to get in touch with the owner of the dogs. The owner, a man in his 40s, is given a warning as the dogs were clearly affected by the heat.
