The police have handled a number of 80 incidents in Södermanland County between 22:00 and 07:00. No serious violent crimes or serious incidents have come to the police's knowledge. There have been a number of alcohol-related cases where people have been taken into custody in accordance with the Law on Public Order or been refused or escorted home.

Seven wild animal accidents (elk/wild boar) have been reported. 

22:32 Assault - Eskilstuna

The police are called to a restaurant in Nyfors where a disturbance has occurred between several people. It is a complicated case that ends with two men and a woman in their 35-40-year-olds being suspected of assault. No one is seriously injured, but one person seeks hospital treatment for rebandaging. One person is detained in accordance with PL 13 and is to sleep in a cell.

23:59 Assault - Katrineholm

Several people witness an assault in central Katrineholm when a man hits another man who falls to the ground and injures his head. The injured party is awake and able to speak when the ambulance arrives and he is taken to hospital. The police have conducted some interrogations but no perpetrator has been arrested in the case.

02:13 Assault - Nyköping

A disturbance occurs outdoors in central Nyköping and a man in his 18-year-olds is beaten and kicked by two other men who then leave the scene. The police can arrest the two suspects after a short period of surveillance. The suspects are also 18-year-olds. The injured party is taken to hospital for examination and rebandaging.
