Police alarm to a traffic accident on Hornvägen in Västervik. 

According to initial reports, it involves a passenger car that collided with a tree.

In the car, two people were traveling, a man in his 35-year-old and a boy 15-year-old. Both were taken to hospital. Police patrol has been on site at the hospital to hold interrogations with the individuals. 

The driver showed signs of being under the influence of narcotics and is now suspected of driving under the influence of narcotics, narcotics crime for personal use, and causing bodily harm. 

The car has been seized for further investigation. Questions about the damage are referred to the region.
