Since 7 o'clock today, 16 traffic controls have taken place in Stockholm County. This as part of the focus week to detect criminals in traffic.
Police are working to find and stop crimes on the road network even for the rest of the year, but they are focusing on this type of week regularly. Between May 5 and 11, the police will conduct a national traffic week with the aim of detecting criminal activity in traffic.
So far, 16 checks have been carried out in several places, including: Arlanda Highway, Ulvsunda Avenue, at Lidingö Stadium, Folkunga Avenue on Södermalm, Stadsgårds Avenue and Torsnäs Street in Kista.
During traffic checks, foreigner checks and checks against the police's database system are performed as needed. Of course, driving licenses and sobriety are also checked.
