22.38. A report of illegally purchasing an alcohol-containing drink is written after a patrol checks a driver in Töcksfors.
Burglary, Arvika
23.52. A burglary alarm goes off at a local in Solvik. Upon arrival, no one can be found at the scene and it is unclear if anything has been stolen. A report is written to investigate the incident further.
Unlawful Entry, Arvika
00.12. A 55-year-old man is suspected of unlawful entry after he has been found to be residing in a campsite illegally. The patrol removed the man from the scene.
Assault, Arvika
01.12. A 20-year-old woman is suspected of assault after she hit a younger woman at a nightclub in the center.
Drunk Driving, Karlstad
22.45. A 35-year-old man is suspected of gross drunk driving, minor drug offense, and unauthorized driving after he drove a seized car drunk and without a valid license. The man also caused a traffic accident at the Central Hospital in connection with his actions. He was taken into custody according to LOB.
Assault, Karlstad
23.55. Patrol finds a 25-year-old man who has been assaulted in the Inner Harbor and lost consciousness as a result. He is taken to the hospital for examination of his injuries. Another victim, a 30-year-old man, is also found. At present, there is no suspect.
Drunk Driving, Karlstad
01.53. A teenage girl is stopped while riding a moped on county road 236. The girl blows positive (0.88 per mille) in the breathalyzer and is suspected of drunk driving. She was handed over to her guardian.
Assault, Karlstad
03.04. A 20-year-old man is suspected of assault after he hit a teenage boy. The boy was taken to the hospital for examination of his injuries.
Burglary, Kristinehamn
00.55. A burglary alarm goes off at a business in Drevsta. Security guards arrive at the scene and find a broken window. A report is written, but at present, there is no suspect and it is unclear if anything has been stolen.
Vandalism, Kristinehamn
01.32. A boat was on fire at a parking lot on Djurgården. Information suggests that the fire was intentional. A report of vandalism through arson is written, with no suspect at present.
It has been very chaotic overnight, with most cases related to high intoxication.
A number of young people have been issued suspicion of minor drug offense and possession.
22 cases have been handled as only intoxication, with five people taken into custody according to LOB and two taken into custody and driven home. The patrols have confiscated alcohol, handled conversations about young people who have set off fireworks or played loud music. People have been found unconscious due to high intoxication and have been taken to the hospital, either by the patrols or ambulance.
