Illegal Detention, Kumla
21.43. Three people have been arrested on suspicion of illegal detention. The police were able to locate and stop a vehicle thanks to witness statements that a woman was being forced into a car.
The suspects are a man in his 25-year-old, a man in his 60-year-old, and a woman in her 55-year-old. The case is now being led by a prosecutor and any media inquiries are referred to the Prosecution Authority.
Gross Assault, Örebro
22.21. Several people are said to have been assaulted at a campsite in Hampetorp. A victim, a 70-year-old man, has been unconscious and is being taken to hospital. A 50-year-old man is being arrested on suspicion of gross assault. He is also being taken into custody with the support of the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons.

22.51. A 30-year-old man is suspected of assault after allegedly hitting a 20-year-old man in the face at a local in City.
Traffic Accident, Örebro
23.43. An alarm is received by SOS about a person being run over in Täby. The person is said to have been crushed between two cars with resulting injuries. When the patrol arrives at the scene, it becomes clear that a driver drove straight into a group of people who were present at the scene due to a youth festival and collided with another driver, resulting in a woman in her 20-year-old being crushed. At present, there is no suspect in the case, but further interviews will be conducted and a technical investigation will be carried out. The case is currently classified as gross bodily harm pending further investigation.
Assault, Örebro
00.19. A fight broke out between a handful of men on Järntorget. The patrol is sent out and hears witnesses and those involved. The case is being reported and a counter-charge of assault of normal severity is being made. One of the suspects is being taken into custody with the support of the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons. The man is 30 years old.
Violence Against a Public Official, Örebro
00.52. A 20-year-old man is suspected of violence against a public official after attacking a security guard at a local. The man was removed from the scene.
Assault, Örebro
01.13. Another 20-year-old man is suspected of assault at the same location as above. The man is removed from the scene and is charged with suspicion of assault after hitting another man.
Drunk Driving, Örebro
02.18. The public alerts the police about a driver who is impaired at Lillkyrka. The patrol stops the driver on E18/E20 and the driver, a 30-year-old man, blows positive. He is now suspected of drunk driving.
Assault, Örebro
02.41. Staff at a hotel in City ring in about a full-scale fight at their premises. Two 30-year-old men are said to have attacked a group of three people, two men and a 20-year-old woman. One of the victims is being taken to hospital for a check-up of their injuries.
Assault, Kumla
22.53. An alarm is received from a party in Kumla about a man hitting another man in the head. The patrol is sent out to the scene and takes up a report of assault. The victim is a boy in his upper teenage years. At present, there is no suspect.
Drunk Driving, Kumla
00.27. The patrol stops a driver in Byrsta on regional road 529. Behind the wheel is a teenager who blows positive in the breathalyzer. He is taken for a medical examination and is suspected of illegal driving and gross drunk driving. The guardian is contacted.
Assault, Askersund
01.06. A caller alerts the police about a verbal argument between a man and a woman in the area. After gathering information at the scene, a 25-year-old man is suspected of assault and vandalism.

It has been a chaotic night in the region, with many incidents related to drinking and celebrations in connection with the European Championship. In the Örebro police district, 19 incidents have been handled, with 11 people being taken into custody or driven home due to intoxication. Most of them were in Örebro.
