The driver is driving at high speed northbound on E4 and the police initiate a pursuit. In Upplands Väsby, the police manage to stop the vehicle. The driver is apprehended.

In connection with the pursuit, the suspect has collided with another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The apprehended, a man in his 50s, is suspected of:

- reckless driving,
- gross negligence causing bodily harm,
- gross carelessness in traffic,
- driving under the influence,
- gross obstruction of a traffic accident scene.
