Police are on the scene at the Hemdal hospital area in Västerås and are searching for a missing person and are now seeking help from the public with any observations.

The person, a man in his 60s, was last seen on the hospital area at 8 pm on Tuesday evening. Several patrols are participating in the search and will fly with, among other things, drones during the operation.

The man is believed to be walking on foot, so observations in and around the hospital area and nearby are of interest, but the search area is growing as time passes, so observations made at other locations are also interesting.

Observations in Köping, where the man is from, are also important.

Police suspect no crime in connection with the disappearance.
