23:59, Attempted Murder – Halmstad
Police and ambulance are alerted to an apartment on Vallås, following reports of a disturbance. On the scene, two people with lacerations are found, a man in his mid-20s and a woman in her early 20s. A man in his early 20s who left the apartment is secured a short distance away and apprehended, initially suspected of attempted murder and causing bodily harm. The man who was attacked has been cut in the neck and taken to the hospital, but is reported to have escaped without life-threatening injuries. The injured woman is reported to have been cut in the hand when she tried to fend off the attack. The suspect is now detained and the apartment is cordoned off for a technical investigation.
